Voting Rights

After the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, a flurry of local efforts are preventing the young, the elderly and people of color from exercising their fundamental right. Bend the Arc is working with our allies to pass new legislation to protect the right to vote for all. We can fix this if we act together.

Yearning to Breathe Free: Just and Fair Immigration Reform

Today millions of people live, work and raise families in the United States without the protection of basic civil rights or labor protections, without access to many services, and in constant fear of persecution and deportation. Fixing our broken immigration system is an economic and moral imperative.

Criminal Justice Reform in California

Our leaders in California worked tirelessly to win passage of Prop. 47, a landmark reform of our broken criminal justice system which will fund more schools (and fewer prisons) and protect thousands from unjust sentencing laws.
